How a two-day assessment found £54.8k of annual productive capacity

A strong repair operation was being slowed by admin around every job. In two days, Isolio mapped where the time was going and what it was worth.

£54.8k
Annual productive capacity identified

Improvement opportunities
£25.6k
Efficiency gains in customer image handling

The challenge

Fragmented intake, manual image handling, repeated customer updates and administrative work around each job were slowing a strong repair operation.

The assessment

Isolio combined leadership priorities, frontline workflow observation, supplier fact-finding and value modelling to find practical improvements.

Opportunities identified

  • Customer image intake and validation
  • Invoice administration and final-cost workflows
  • Telephone triage and call transcript management
  • Customer communications and parts readiness

Next steps

Validate the Autosoft route, pilot image intake, then scope the next workflows.

The assessment was a real eye opener and has helped now look at future opportunities of which we are already working on. The idea is to reduce overheads and workload of which I am positive from these early days will be achievable.

Case studyBonus EventusField service software

A digital workforce of eight, working inside Expedite

Bonus Eventus built Expedite to run the operational and commercial side of a field service business. Isolio turned it from software people operate into software that does the work.

8
Digital employees inside Expedite
40 in ~6 min
Invoices generated, for under $0.30 in AI cost
~£40k
Estimated yearly margin gain from smarter procurement
~$98
Monthly AI cost to run the whole workforce

The challenge

Business software is built around people: log in, find the screen, review, click, move on. Even when software makes a process faster, an employee still has to push every process forward. Bonus Eventus wanted Expedite to do the work itself, not just add a chatbot.

The solution

Isolio designed and built eight digital employees inside Expedite, each owning specific operational or commercial workflows. They use the business information already in the platform to analyse, decide, prepare outputs and complete tasks.

  • Some workflows run fully autonomously
  • Others keep a person in the loop to review or approve the final action

The digital workforce

01

Commercial Intelligence Analyst

Answers questions about the business straight from Expedite's data, so managers stop building reports by hand.

02

Inbox Manager

Reads incoming email, works out what needs to happen next and moves the workflow forward.

03

Procurement Manager

Analyses requirements and helps the business source materials and equipment at better rates.

04

Reporting Analyst

Produces recurring operational and management reports without anyone extracting the data.

05

Invoicing Specialist

Prepares invoices at a scale and speed a manual workflow can't match.

+3

Plus three further workflow-specific agents.

Before

Employees used Expedite to carry out business processes.

After

Employees delegate those processes to digital employees working inside Expedite, and focus on higher-value work.
